Don't the ford SVT's (any model) get modded outside the Ford factories too?

Yes...in people's driveways. A cobra leaves the factory as a cobra and all other models too, the Ford techs aren't hand building motors in a service bay.  SVT is usually quite an upgrade from a base model, not an appearance package.

The only way an 18 y.o. Civic could beat a WRX is 1) your car is souped up, 2) the WRX was going in reverse, 3) that kid is really a bad driver, or 4) a combo of the above.  That's funny.  BTW, if that's you in your avatar, you don't look to be 46.
