Hello all! Im Travis, new to the forum, new to Ducati. However, I have been bitten by the bug so hard, and am thirsty for knowledge. I hope that you all will be able to satisfy my now obsession, and help me to get my first Ducati up and running ASAP!

Just picked up a 96 M900. It was a wreck that I purchased from a friend. Sometime in late 2009 a young lady pulled out in front of him and he Tboned her. The right fork put a divot in the frame, but doesnt look like it bent the frame at all. I need to figure out how to check it for straightness. And then replace both forks, fairing, and lights. Wheel looks fine, as do the triple trees, its mostly cosmetic after that. Most of the damaged pieces were CF, and Im having a hell of a time finding replacement pieces. Maybe one of you guys or gals could point me in the right direction to find replacement parts, or to repair the others. I know that I will probably have to get creative to cover the damaged areas on the carbon fiber. Its just been hell trying to find someone who is capable of making the repair.

Either way, thank you all for getting together, and making such a fine forum. I look forward to meeting some of you in the future IRL, and making some new friends, as well as getting my knees in the wind SOON! -Travis

Welcome Travis! :)

Good luck with your new project and addiction. ;D

I recommend posting up in Tech (for your frame and fork questions) and Accessories & Mods (for aftermarket bits), that's where the experts hang out.

You might also want to poke around in the Parts for Sale and Parts Wanted boards.

Good luck, keep us updated. [thumbsup]
