The Best Gloves

In my opinion, these are the best long gauntlet Gloves there are.

The Held Titans.

I just got these today, they are the second pair of Titans that I have.

They are very comfortable having a Kangaroo Palm w, a Cowhide Chassis.

The various protection are many.

Starting w, the Titanium piece covering Carbon Fiber over the main Knuckle area . The underlying Carbon Fiber piece extends to the back of the hand.

Carbon Fiber also is located at the base of the Thumb and at the base of the outside Knuckle.

Sting Ray skin which is very abrasion proof is located on the meaty part of the palm and up the outside of the Wrist area.

Sting Ray skin is also located on the little Finger and ring Finger Knuckles as well as on the Knuckle of the middle Finger .

Also there is double thickness leather sewn on the top of the middle Finger in the middle Knuckle area and the little Finger and the ring Finger are sewn together to protect the little Finger in case of a crash plus that area has double thick leather.

The Thumb, 1st and middle Fingers have added padding.There are perforations between the Fingers and a lot of perforations across the back of the hand for good air flow.. The left index Finger has a rubber Visor Wipe sewn into it.

There are several areas of Gel padding throughtout the Gloves.

The Gloves have a Velcro Strap Closure across the back of the Wrist and a stretch Velcro closure piece on the back inside of the Glove for great fitment.

Dye is Color fast.

Craftsmanship is beyond reproach.

Only downside ....they are pricey .

Love my Held Galaxy gloves.  My second pair, and this one is about 8 years old.

M900, you must follow Held's recommendations for Glove care .

That's quite a lifetime for a Glove.

also you should tell others that held tends to have a very euro cut, very long fingers and narrow for the size, i found the phantoms to be the right size in width but way too long fingers.  when i goto alpinestars i can go the same size but hte fingers are literally 1/2 inch shorter and fit fine.

but they look like really nice gloves, too bad they don't fit me i would have gotten them a long time ago

sbrguy, I have long Fingers plus I ordered a size larger than the Phantoms I have because the Phantoms cut into the webbing between my Thumb and index Finger.

Longer Fingers haven't been a problem for me, so I guess I didn't know that they ran long.

I have Alpine* GP Tech and have no problem w, them , also Alpine* GP Pro and they fit fine. My Dainese Full Metal Racers also don't seem to be a problem.

I guess I need to get the tape measure out and measure my Glove Fingers against each other and see the difference.

Helds just don't fit me. The fingers are too long and the palms are too narrow.

Rev'It gloves fit me great and are very well-made.

Sorry to hear Helds aren't for you...... but glad the Rev'Its work .

Every body's hands are different.

Mine must be unusual, I have Helds, Spidis, Alpinestars, Daineses, H-Ds, Olympias and different models of several of those brands and they all fit me OK.

I bought a pair of A* GP plus.

I don't like them.

I bought a pair of Helds used here on the forum to replace my old Helds and my hands are happy again.

Good thing, unhappy hands make for lonely nights.  ;)

Dianese Full Metal Racers are the best IMO

J, I have 2 pairs of Dainese FMRs and they are nice and soft , but nothing compared to the Held Titans for Protection( plus the Titans are very soft as well ) .

If you ever have the opportunity you should try on a pair of the Held Titans.

I've tried a buncha different gloves.  None fit my hands as well as Helds.  Curiously, my hands are wide palms with short fingers.  I've crashed the fack out of a coupla pairs w/o incident.  They're good for a couple (or more) crashes before they need replacement.

My current racing/track/hard riding gloves are Held Galaxies and Phantoms.  I haven't tried the Titans.

Spidey, I have 2 pairs of Held Phantoms and they are very good Gloves I have always thought.

I just put on one of my newer Phantoms , then a Titan......the Titan feels twice the Glove !

Unbiased since I own both.

Nah, but I do stop wearing them when it's warm and switch to short cuff gloves.  Those don't seem to last, blew through a pair of Icons in a couple of months and the Dainese I have is starting to unravel in the trim part...

Truth be told, my Helds are probably due for a replacement.  It's just hard to contemplate because they fit like an old glove. ;D

Some pics;

Here are my Galaxy gloves.  They're worn, and the rivets on the palm on one hand are banged up after a slow speed dismount, but not bad for an 8-year old glove with heavy use from Fall to Spring;

This is my 2nd pair of Helds.  The first got damaged during a bad crash about a year or so after I picked up the Monster.  The forefinger on the left hand failed and I wound up with a hole in my fingernail, but given that the cluch MC looked i=like it was run through a grinder and I'm apparently not able to let go of the bars when crashing, I think it did its job.  I know I would have had massive injuries on that hand without the Helds, and I'm a guitarist so that would have sucked.  Those gloves reside in a special place in my office;

Those certainly don't look their age.

That's a fitting place for a noble pair of gloves to be framed and displayed .
