Anyone have a fireplace/furnace insert connection?

We have two fireplaces, up and down stairs and want to put a wood burning insert in the one down.

There is only one insert we like, the Regency Alterra (CI1250), mainly because everything else looks like it rolled out of the 18th century.  These are modern looking with clean lines.  

If anyone has a line on these cheaper than retail, please give me some pointers.

The retail shops have them for around $2600 + another 700 for the flue insert.
