Were there ever any black or dark grey belt covers made for the 800 motor?

I don't want any metal or carbon ones and would prefer swapping them instead of painting them if possible.

Should be but there was also steps posted in Accessories and Mods regarding dying covers
All the world will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.

What's wrong with painting them?  I used Krylon Semi-Gloss on mine and they look pretty good.

Mine look like Mony's, but a little less shiny.

Love your bike Monty!  I'm planning to darken my S2R, but keep the frame red so it stands out.  Like the black peg hangers and swing arm.  What pipe is that?

It's a Quat-D midpipe and Leo Vince 2-1 Slip on.  Sounds is really nice, and it looks killer with that twisted 2-1 pipe.  I would have preferred a CF muffler, but came across a deal on the aluminum.  My next step is the tail chop, when I do that, I might shorten the muffler, ceramic coat it, and add this end to it...

FWIW - I painted my belt covers with no issues using high-temp paint from a rattle can.

I too love those pipes, too bad Leo stopped making them and everyone that has them isn't willing to part with them.  Some day....

I painted mine with Krylon's Fusion Matte Black rattle can. Improved the look by 100% and did the job in the time it took to drain the oil out of the engine. Bonus: if they get scuffed, it's awfully easy to do a repair.
