Names Darron.  Originally from Texas.  I don't really say things like Yeee Haw!  Grew up in Washington, DC area and am still here.

Ride a 2009 Ducati 1100S on the street.  A 2005 Yamaha R1 on the track.  And am currently building a Ducati 848 for racing next year.

Favorite tracks are Virginia International Raceway North Course, despite my recent high-side on the infamous Turn 7 (known for high-siding riders b/c it's off-camber, right turn, up a hill (suspension gets light).  Very easy to lose rear traction if you aren't careful.

Other favorite is New Jersey Motorsports Park Thunderbolt.  Just makes me want to go Yeee Haw! blazing around that track.

And, an old favorite is Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia.  Both Main and Shenandoah are very different but fun tracks despite the occasional deer or ground hog.  Shenny is especially great for twins like the monster b/c of it's tight corners and short straights.

Next year I plan to come out and race the Ducati 848.  I love my R1, but racing an 848 opens up more classes to race in where the R1 sits at the top of the classes (you can race up a class but you can't race down).

Anyhow, I ride year round so I'll see you out on some of the rides in our area.
