I'm thinking that both Carol and Glenn did the killing of the two sick people, which is how Glenn caught it. Think about the amount of time it would take one person to kill two people and drag them outside with nobody noticing.

So

New theory:

Prison virus came from the water supply, which was drawn from the small creek outside the fence.

Contaminated by the governor.

Cause that's how he'd roll.

Possibly.  Still think it was a flu strain that started with the pigs and then mutated over to human contagion via airborne means.

I'm thinking you might be right with the Gov doing something to the water. Which also plays into the reason the trail went cold because he is right outside the gate. He also might be the one feeding the rats to the walkers at the fence so they crowd it and get into the prison yard. Its a way for him to use the walkers to do his work for him and the dirty water makes everyone weak inside so less for him to fight.

5 minutes.  Im more surprised they burned with no one noticing the smoke and smell.  Then again I guess everything smells.

Since they are pulling water from the creek, I can't imagine they would not be boiling it.  That makes no sense.

What is bugging me (within the zombie world) is where are they getting gasoline from?

They need to come back with a reference to some tank they found at the prison.. prisons usually have a reserve tank for vehicles and some kind of tanks for generators.

Seems they could be using the prison's generators once in a while...
