One thing though

the music in this episode, especially around Herschel was spot-on..

the ending roll?  Wow.  It was very powerful for me.

Herschel wants to survive, but he wants to remain civilised.  He even has problems stabbing the dead guy before he turns.

The end scene of him bawling was moving.

Contrast that with the scene of Carl mowing walkers with an M16 next to dad.  Pure redneck heaven.

That was a good episode.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Common sense would say they should be boiling all their water. We know they lack common sense.

So true.

What about collected rain water?  Would that need boiled after the container was clean?

How about the part where he broke out the Bible for some consolation then sort of said the hell with it and closed it up?

Did he say to hell with it?  Or did he just read a quick passage of comfort?

I think he considered the doctor a good friend with a good heart and this was his funeral.

Could read it either way, but I don't think Heshy has given up

No, if it was otherwise cleanly collected, but you'd still have to worry about the pipes, container, etc.

If anything I think he has became tougher.

About the gasoline. This show would be a great spot for a Stabil commericial.

Was I the only one that caught a shot of The Governor at the end?  IMO they need to find a high security prion to hang out in.  The chain link fences are not going to be enough to stop the Gov.....

Tis a great show but holy smokes it really needs to go somewhere soon.  In it's current format people can come and go at will.  Must be great for the producers that want to make sure stars don't get too greedy!  What? Did you say you want a raise?  Looks like you are gonna get Zombie bit!

What is bugging me (within the zombie world) is where are they getting gasoline from?

All they need is a hand pump, some hose and to find one of those massive gas stations with 40,000 gallon plus storage tanks.  The ethanol gas might be jelly but a little Stabil and you have nothing to worry about.  Next year they may have to switch to Seam Foam but they'll worry about it later.

that sounds feasible, but i'd just like to see them refer to it.

they are using an AWFUL lot of vehicles and many of them are big gas guzzlers

Do you know how many of those little bottles you have to add to a 40,000 gallon tank?  ;D

You have to think this is also already 3 years into the apocolypse. That fuel would be crap or expended by now...
