So, it's time for once a year sale at my local Duc dealer.
Went there this morning, looked at the gloves. (My old Held gloves are ... , err, getting too old .)
I first tried these.

Then, tried Dainese Full Metal Pro.

Hmm, I guess I like Rev'it better. (Dainese gear were 40% off, Rev'it were 35% off, still, Jerez was cheaper option than Full Metal Pro, and felt a lot nicer.) So I bought them.

Went for a ride. Someone somewhere posted about those gloves require some break in. Nah, they don't really need any breaking in. You just need some getting used to (especially those pinkie armors ...)

Now, IF you try these gloves on at the store, and make a fist, you WILL feel like those pinkie armors are annoying. But, if you sit on the bike and hold the grip the way you do when riding, they won't get in the way. You will notice it's there, for first 15 minutes. Then you simply forget.

I do care about feel and control just as well as protection. I "need" the gloves that I can do / undo helmet's chin strap.

(why do I have to wear gloves first, then put helmet on? I don't know. It's just habit. I've always been doing that.)
Anyway, as you can see, no problem in that department.

The cuff system takes some time to get used to. And these are not the " just slip them on, get on a bike and go " kinda gloves. But it's nice to have extra protection at wrist.

I have fairly small hands with thin fingers , but size M fit me perfectly. (says something about the sizing and cut. I'd imagine if you have fat fingers, they won't be easy to put on / off.)

The palm doesn't slip around on the  grip, and feels really nice. (much , much nicer than Full Metal Pro. )
No bunching up.

View of the entry. It's tight, but my hands are small, I don't have any complain ...

Nice built in brass knuckles. In time, they will probably get scratched, though. Have to treat them carefully.

I rode around just about 100 miles today (Wednesday, my only day off) with those gloves on.
Overall, I'm pretty happy (especially with 35% off price  ;D ). Of course, I don't know how it will hold up in a long run, I'll have to wait and see.
For those of who are interested in this particular model, highly recommended. (But try them first, preferably on your bike, with your jacket / suit on.)
For those who are looking for race gauntlet style gloves, these are worth considering.
There are tons of online review out there, so I don't bother about material and such. For that kind of info, you can read web bike world review.
