EZ Slide out License Plate!

Lost my plate sunday, got a new plate monday.
The old plate was held down with nuts and bolts that i alwasy fiddled with and i guess i just forgot to fasten them before the ride. So I made this sucker up with 24 gauge stainless steel, quick e-z slide so if you wanted to stop in a commerical only zone for 2 minutes so you can grab a cold water, YOU CAN! I want to try using neodymium magnets to keep the plate on, but im pretty sure the plate is alluminum. Its just a safety wire on there right now. Any ideas?

I mounted mine in the same place, but used a piece of Al barstock to mount it...

So now someone can easily steal your plate?  Doesn't seem like a great idea to me.
As for the parking they can easily check your vin and give you a ticket.

I take my plate with me when i park. I got busted for leaving my bike in a commerical only zone abiet a dead street in less than 2 mins. or 5 mins i forgot. You cant see my vin number either. No stickers on frame, and the headtube is going to be partially puttied. I never park illegaly unless its a 5 minute thing.

I live in the city and bloomberg can suck it if i wanna stop so i can buy a ice cold water in the middle of manhattan.

Another ducati rider that is going the same place im going overtakes me becasue i took a diff route. I ended up behind a car that was smoking pot and the driver was going all over the palce on a 1 way street. Got stuck at the light for 2 whole make the beast with two backsing minutes.

Someone put gum all over my guages.

my next step is to get a custom plate with the letters ILILILIL the the horitzonal bar on the L is only 1/2 inch long so from distance, all youd see is llllll =D i have to cehck if O0O0O0 or B8B8B8  is available.
