New url for the DMF?

Since the new logo was voted in recently, and there was talk about changing the URL fro this site to "Ducatimonsterforum.org", wouldn't it be better to do it sooner than later?

I was thinking that all the links that we use in posts will become broken, kinda poopie for all the links pointing to FAQ's and other useful posts like that 

I know that the flounders (  love that name) already own the "Ducatimonsterforum.org" URL, but one of my questions is how hard is it to change it over?

yeah.. if you type in wikipedia.com it automatically redirects you to wikipedia.org

It can be done, IMHO I am grateful for this site and think we should leave the URL as it is.

Yes, it can be done very easily using apache.  Once a decision is made, we'll set it up - no worries.

edit: I felt I should edit this to point out that it can actually done about 5 different ways before I have some other nerd jump all over me

Yes change it and put everything on redirect... I have several websites but many URLs, you should be using redirect and keep the shortest and most catch as the primary. I like "forums" better than "worldwide" do it early (get it over with before membership numbers go higher) and nobody will know the difference if you redirect anyways.
