I dunno, if I had one, I wouldn't be doing too much sitting if you catch my drift.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

You guys saw that this was a 'Proof of Concept' based on a $45k racebike, yes?

Yes.

But doesn't seem like a (much) more reasonably priced street model would be a big stretch. Hell, go to cast masters as opposed to the billet ones and you'll drop $1,000 - 1,500. I'm sure a lot of dosh is wound up in the engine of that race bike. Go with the production version of that  engine, save more and on and on.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Like it...the XB is what made me look at the monster and when Buell folded, I shed tears. I will still buy an XB Lightening as a second bike, hmmm. maybe I will make my own frankenstein, shoe horn a ducati 1100 monster engine in it!

"The first photos and details of the Erik Buell Racing 1190 Typhon, a concept built by Pegasus, the largest Buell race team in the world. The Erik Buell Racing 1190RR that the Typhon is based on is Erik Buell Racing’s flagship superbike racer. Derived from the 1125R, this 1190cc v-twin puts out 185hp at the rear wheel and 93lb/ft of torque. It’s incredibly light too, weighing just 163kg/360lbs (dry). " source: Hell For Leather Magazine

Great. Now Wes Siler is gonna be bugging me for his 2 dollars!

I'd hit it (even though it probably has that crappy Buell sound).  Those brakes still weird me out though.

I bet it hits you before you hit it ;)

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

They have to re-write the rules again so only the Buell can win.  it will come.

Buell should have done something like that a lot sooner. Maybe he'd still be in the bigger business.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

i don't know but i would assume his balls were in a vise for a long time after signing up with HD.  he was using those HD lumps for a while and the 1125 was the first "real" sportbike they made.
