[moto] [moto] [moto] [moto]. Anything that starts with Putty has to be good!

Goldfish how did that service go?  ;D

bike in the shop as we speak.....that's the service you were talking about, right?  :P

The group is complete.  [clap] [clap] [clap]
Is it too early to start a count down?

I'm packing the bike up tomorrow.   [moto]

It could take me a while to find a rideable road out of here!

mattyvas

I was thinking that you might struggle to dry unbroken road to ride outta home.

the monster has been transformed into a courier bike, just need to load it up and see how much it's going to affect the handling....

I didn't know you could still get milk crates.
Believe post content at your own risk.

mattyvas

It's a posh Italian milk crate....

Tested and ready to go, I know Heather will be ready she is everytime she gets on her bike.
How are the other folks looking?

Suggest someone takes a "GRYYP" puncture repair kit along. Noticed a nail embedded in the rear while taking a break Wednesday arvo. Had it repaired and was on my way again within 15mins and have done over 1000 k's on it since. Highly recommend these kits. (better to have it an not want it, than want it an blah blah blah) ;) Have a great trip.

Dam......beats my man bag Goldy........... ;D
Any room left in there for my toiletries..?

goldFiSh

I'm sure we can accommodate Brian. Just investigating how much space a mocca pot, cups, burner and hand grinder will take up.

mattyvas

Space is charged at a premium, after all it is a posh Italian milk crate.

2 pairs of undies!? It's 3 days, not 3 weeks.

You're spot on though.. Half a back back at most.. I expect the other half of:

  • Brian's to be filled with cleaning materials and cotton buds.
  • Matty's to be filled with Camera Gear
  • Goldy's to be filled with Coffee and his Crisis Courier's contract
  • Craigo's to be filled with little plates/rocks for him to balance his spikey bike stand on (and maybe a couple of flyers he can hand out to flog the 696 off)
  • Gino's to be filled with spare globes for his lights
  • Cakey's to be filled with holiday pictures and spare SD Cards
  • Heather's to be filled with the clothes she needed to get up here in the first place.
.. Who else is going!?
P.S - hope someone actually takes tooth paste.

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”
NYTimes: "...highlights of his global tour include encounters with Nelson Mandela, an 800-year-old demigod and a dildo collector."

mattyvas

I was never a boy scout but being prepared is a good thing for road trips.
So yes the count is right on the smalls and tooth brush and paste.
We also have the local rain cloud aka Brian W coming along with us, so the Adams family grey clouds will follow.
Wets might be a good thing to pack, maybe a spare pair of gloves a 500mm for some good action shots on the Oxley Hwy.

craigo

Gonna be a hot one it appears - 40+(!) degree days predicted from Thursday to Saturday.

Gonna need a Camelpack for the ride.  And some  [beer] at the end of the day.
