Also, I've never been to Vegas, any tips you guys can give me? I'll be there for 5 days and staying at the Riviera. (non Vegas folks welcome to post too, lol)

Not planning on gambling, I've never been a gambler. (I don't even do the "I'll betcha five bucks that....") So at least I'll be able to hold on to my money that way. There are lots of parties going on but I'll be skating all day every day, pretty much, so no hard partying until the end.

1st problem...went with family.

2nd problem...under 21.

I grew up in Vegas, so gambling doesn't appeal to me. You can have a very fun time there without it though.

I lived there for a couple years... And it gets old fast... But the parties never end if you know where to look.... And the hookers are legal, but only outside of the county... And there is more blow openly done around there than you would expect.... It's crazy really.... Not that I have done blow or hookers.... Just saying... Anyhow, have fun, and if you do get in trouble, I still have a lot of friends there who could help ya in a pinch.

My advice:

Don't gamble. But if you do, find a cheap table and try and suck down as many free drinks as possible while losing your money as slowly as possible.
Go with the flow. The worst thing you can say in LV is "no thanks, I don't want to try that."
Be sure and take advantage of the local delicacy: The Buffet

The only gambling my wife and I did was toss a few quarters in random slots and play the penny and nickel video poker while enjoying free drinks ~
