No, it's true. I suck. But thankfully I have really good taste in friends. That's what gets me through the day. Knowing I have great friends like you guys and gals. It never gets tiring to hear or see... you folks rock and are the best of the best! Why the hell the rest of the world can't be like this group is totally beyond me. What the heck is wrong with them? at this point i'm stuck at maybe, unfortunately.  those couple weeks are going to be pretty crazy...i have to move out of here by the 13th, and i have a wedding in iowa on the 25th-29th...  but either way all i remember about that weekend was good times man...seriously.  i made a rookie mistake with that corner, but it was an awesome time, no joke...you guys were fun to hang out with (watch out for those barking spiders though with swanny, though    ) and those roads and the countryside was the just the thing i needed...it was refreshing to say the least.   [moto]

well gang here is an update on the LYD clan:
1st we have a buyer for the house!!    Got exactly what we wanted for it, so thats good.
2nd I found us a house about 20 miles away, 2000 square foot, with 900 square foot finished basement on 1.25 acres and a 4 car garrage!!!!

If all goes well mindy should be here by the 1st of the month!!  So good news from last week.  I have almost put 1000 miles on the LYD since I've been here and LYD needs an oil change, but it will have to wait another week or so.

Good to hear from the Master of Yellow! Missed you this weekend at Cory's throw down. You could have helped us thrash cdc's house and bothered the neighborhood with your D&Ds! As you can see in the picture links on that thread you were there in a way!!

Great news about the house. Congrats, you and Mindy are probably the only people in North TX with a contract on their house! Given the economy I was kinda worried about that. At least you had GM to back you up if it didn't move.

Damn, 1000 miles already? Must not be 100+ degress like it is here. Either that or you found some kickin' roads hidden away up there. When is Mindy moving up. I guess that depends on when the house closes, right? Are you coming back home for any of that? Hope so. Let us know in advance and we'll do a dinner/lunch thing!

Yes Mindy and I wish we could have been at cory' party, but I will just say goodbye on sunday in person.  As for the house we put it up with a price to sell and still make a couple of bucks, but we know the pool and backyard sold that house!!
To be honest with everyone the 1K miles have not been cruising around looking at the area.  Its all been house hunting and going back and forth to work.  The weather here is in the mid to upper 80's very nice. 

Mindy will be moving as soon as the movers come to load up the house, hopefully soon, thats what she is doing today.  As for me coming back, well thats probally not going to happen, but if for any reason I do make it back to the DFW area I will post it.

No s#@t! That's why we are going to the family cabin in northeast New Mexico for vacation. Not the s#@t that Jen and Colin made me do last year in a God awful neck brace. Panama City Beach, Florida in August. The freaking heat index was 115-116!!! It was 105 index by 8:00AM!! Talk about suck!! Oh, and the neck brace was so much fun. Try wrapping a black, yard garbage sack around your neck and standing in the sun. Only good thing was that there was a liqour store around the corner that could sell pina coladas in 20 oz. cups for cheap! God bless America... bikes, guns, ammo and pina coladas! No way that's happening again. Cool nights, mountain rain storms, trout fishing, black bears on the porch , good books and margaritas on the porch. Ahhh, what Texas heat?
