I think a different exhaust would look much better. Boomtubes or am underseat exhaust which doesn't clutter the backend and allows the swingarm and other parts to stand out. I'm not a fan of the termis or many of the other slip ons for how they look and swallow up the back end of the bike.

However I think your right about it not matching this bikes personality... This bike is too pretty and refined for the h-comp exhaust

And btw I love my h-comp exhaust, it's not too loud, it can never be too loud

dude... It's loud as make the beast with two backs. When I ride in groups they make me stay in the back.  >:(

Basically like a 2 cylinder funny car.

I've had people tell me they can hear it from campus when I'm at my house over a mile away. I wish the mythical "baffle" that was advertised actually existed. The thing I received stopped gas flow and caused the PC to turn white.

Regardless, I'd put the "quiet" boomtubes on this 1100, but termi's are always classy.

Is this thing on?

+1 on the termi's fitting on this bike... plus, i'm pretty sure he must have gotten a pretty decent deal on them with his job.

ever since i've seen those termi's ceramic coated, i know that if/when i ever get a 696 mid pipe, that's going to be my next winter mod along with the headers.  and i'll also be copying removal of the sticker and spraying on a stencil instead... but prob in flat white for mine.

I don't know....I think the "refined" aspects of this bike and the nasty aspects of the h-comp exhaust would go well together.  Kinda like the prom queen slipping ya the pinky when she is droppin dome!

God I hope so.  I'd hate to see a bike like that not be ridden!

Stay tuned guys... I just got back from being out of town for a while and I plan to ride the bike to the Quail Lodge Motorcycle Gathering in Carmel this weekend. Obviously, that means finished pics coming very soon. I also plan to capture some video.

What did you end up doing to hold ecu and electronics once you eliminated airbox?
