Hi Guys and Gals,

Has been a while since ive been on the forum. My little baby is getting repaired and they are waiting on Parts. It needs a new radiator and ive been told it will be at least 4 weeks until it comes in from Italy.

Collidiscope are doing the repairs and ive heard some hit and miss stories about them so hopefully mine is repaired well (ill be going over it with a fine tooth comb)

I cant wait to get it back and go out riding again with you guys.

Hope your all well!!

Love Cakeman xoxoxo

If you are not happy with any part that has been repaired get straight onto them, point, and whinge (long and loud).

Hope you are back on the road soon  [thumbsup]

Glad to know it's being repaired.
There must have a decent difference between the quotes from repairers.
I hope that does mean you get a good quality job.
I have never had anything to do with them, I know they fix a huge amount of bikes.

Hope it comes out okay.

I too have heard good and not so good stories, from what I can make out its been the anal retentive type that have had a whinge, but I guess thats what anal retentives do

From what i have been told by the insurer and repairer it was close to a write off. HOWEVER the laws changed in feburary (while my bike was sitting in no mans land) and apparently if goes on to a repairable write off list now. For that reason, if the insurer tries to sell it its either very hard or they get next to nothing for it, so the write of limit of the bije has been lifted..... for example, if insurers were writting off bikes that need repairs worth more then 60% of the value of the bike previously, that limit has been increased to 80%.

Mine was fine structually except for some big ticket items like the radiator being replaced, exhaust etc which pushed it up to 6-8k just in parts.

We'll see how it goes
