gosh this was easier when all my bikes were black...

my axis yellow lid is just not 'feeling' the tri.. plus I've been using it for about 5 years...

As a definite Shoei fan, what colors should I be checking out? I like the Rf-1000 and the x-11:

As somewhat of a fashion expert  [roll] ??? I think a Ducati helmet and maybe Ducati leathers are ok - just not at the same time. My tip for a tricolorist this season is Ducati helmet and Dainese leathers. Or never mind and continue - I'm tired.

I tried on the "ducati" branded tricolore helmet at the dealership, but didn't care for the fit & feel. I'm REAL used to my old RF-900, which is as perfect a fit as I could hope for. Whenever I've tried them, I've fet the Arai shape also does not mate well with my head, so I'm pretty much only looking at the Shoei ones.

Yeah, I don't really "do" the ducati leathers... [roll] I seem to have ended up with mostly the A* gear & SIDIs...

I know it's not your helmet brand choice, but I have been eye balling this one:

Just a thought, but why not just get the rf900 in a solid color (since they're significantly cheaper than other helmets with ornate decals), and get it custom painted?  You'll get the fit you want and the look you want.  I know that a lot of places don't charge more than 300-400 bucks for decent custom paint.  In comparison, the average painted\designed Arai helmet retails for around $500usd.

That helmet is SWEET!! If I was lookin for that color scheme, that would be the helmet I'd buy.
Would be a nice match to a new white 848 when I get my insurance claim...Hmmm

Very nice!! The color scheme is a nearly perfect match. (Not that I really have a need to coordinate, but that one fits the bill for sure!) Man if there was a SHOEI that had that graphics set my mind would be made. I may have to see if I can find one of these Vemars to try on...
