Kinda off topic but just how do you put your bike on a paddock stands if it's on the bike stand and leaning over? Does it need two people, one to hold the bike upright and the other to insert the stand arm into rear wheel?

It helps to have a person to help, but once you've done it a few times it's pretty easy to do by yourself, insert the spindle into your axle from the high side and press down on the stand, can be a bit scary initially, but it's not gonna fall over if you go slow and steady.

If you're close to Darlinghurst then you could pick it up and save the delivery costs I suppose.

You can insert it from the high side? From the picture the spindle appears fixed on the left, requiring a low (left) side insert.  ???

its dead easy and as most people here will confirm, im useless at anything mechanical. So if i can do it, you guys have nothing to wory about.

Wack it in from the lowside, and bang it up (slowish) and bobs your uncle

Mate, are you in Sydney regions...?  If so, i'd prefer to show you than have your bike going over.....

So its settled... Om going to get a stand directly from Karl (like the ebay link). And because Im buying two (or more) they're only $80 each. Anyone else want me to grab them one?

I live in Baulkham Hills.

Nope, Mel based but no problem, I'll work it out. I was just wondering about the physical mechanics of it is all if I'm by myself. But it appears to be a no-brainer.
