Cycle Cat is Back!

not all that likely to be a cyclecat product based on company history / platform. 

Their products, excluding the front/rear/transport stands, were primarily billet aluminum parts with performance/function over pure aesthetic parts (yes, the dumb Hayabusa billet 'yoke cover' is an exception I am aware of).   Examples included triple clamps, rearsets, clipons, frame sliders, GP shift levers, clutch covers, pressure plates, sprocket covers, etc.  All billet aluminum with stainless steel hardware (nuts n bolts).  The only steel products I have or recall are their box-steel front & DSS-rear stands.  The front stand's swiveling fork bottom holders was a neat idea, though in application interfered with the front axle sliders on my bikes, so the stand wouldn't be very useful to anyone at a track day looking to use tirewarmers and with front axle sliders installed.   

Beyond that exception, their parts were better by degrees than the rest - even Rizoma, in my opinion (owned lots of both).  I only got frustrated and sold my CycleCat parts when I worried about the unavailability of spare parts (and thus sold them before any spare parts would be needed!).

SO.....For S*R style tubular SSS for the 696/796/1100 Monsters, you would be better served contacting existing sponsors such as MotoCreations and Flight Cycles, etc.

Great news about your company. I hope you consider a similar type of adjustable rearsets that adjust up, down, backwards and forwards like the ones you built for the Aprilia Touno they were fantastic design & quality I just sold the bike to a 6' 6" guy and He bought it because I lowered the pegs for Him and the guy was amazed. Anyway all the aftermarket rearsets I've seen for the 696/1100 only go up. My GF would be real happy with another 1" of leg room on her bike.

Thanks for all of your comments guys. Like 2-skinny said, the swingarm project is not one that Cycle Cat would undertake. Mark at Moto Creations would be the man for sure on this one.
I will keep all of your comments and suggestions in mind. Things are busy here and moving quickly towards being able to get the products you want back in stock and ready to ship.
I have requested sponsorship info from Statler and Cycle Cat will be proud to be a DMF participating member like we were on the old DML.

One comment I have - for you new production. Find a different anodizer, or get the one you had used to use a different dye. The finish on your stuff was great, but fading, especially for the black was much more pronounced than most others.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I've had cyclecat bars on my bike for...10 years?

It lives inside, but the black risers are fine with regards to fading.

Black Cycle Cat rearsets have been on my bike since 2005 and they look pretty good. However, in the bright sunlight they do have a purple hue. The bike has led a garaged life so it hasn't been in the sunlight much.

I am fully aware of the problems with the black and red annodizing that we had in the past. Black turns purple as the black fades and the red undercoat shows through and red turns a salmon color. I am looking at other annodizers to see if there is a solution to control fading on the matching black finish that we provided in the past. I am also considering hard annodizing for black parts that would produce the same finish that you would see on the receiver of an M-16/AR-15. This finish will not fade however it will not match the previous Cycle Cat black at all as it is a very flat (non gloss) finish. It is all in the very early stages. I am waiting on samples. Depending on demand, the hard annodized black may be a special order only. We also need to test this to see what effect this process has on tolerances.
The fun goes on here. I spent all day yesterday unpacking and sorting the thousands of risers, brackets, levers and misc. billet parts that I have. It is a daunting task and will likely consume the rest of the week.
Steps have been taken to move towards starting production and things are progressing nicely. Design has started on the first new Cycle Cat product to be drawn for the new bikes in four years. I am very excited to get back in the game!

Agreed. And would wear incredibly well over the years for those hard-use machines like track duty bikes and the rides of guys who dont "do" washing...  Would love low weight billet fork bottoms with this matte look. The get covered in brake dust, grime, etc anyhow

I could use new brake and shift levers (bike was knocked down at work a while back) for my S4R.
