A while back I went cheap and ordered the Carbon Fiber instrument cover from Tekarbon for my M1100. The fit was horrible, actually, it didn't fit; there was a large gap between the CF and the instrument panel. I actually ordered 3 things from Tekarbon, the pod cover, the headlight cover (pictured) and the exhaust valve cover. The exhaust valve cover and headlight cover fit great, just not the instrument panel cover.

I also wanted a billit gas cap............just because. I contacted Jeff and he said that it was going to be a few weeks before Rizoma had one available for the M1100. I also inquired about the CF instrument panel cover; Jeff said his piece should be plug and play.

Jeff kept me informed regarding the gas cap and when it came in I placed my order for the two pieces. Everything fit as it should!

He is out of stock on the Evo-Tech tail chop kit currently so when he gets those in he will ship mine to me at no additional cost.

Jeff rocks........the stickers he sent along as a bonus were great too!!!!! THANKS JEFF!

Jeff is the man, what started out with my annoying emails regarding different blinker types have led into multiple purchases from t-shirts, midpipes, and other random stuff. He’s answered all my questions in a timely manner and I always check his site first for inventory before considering anyone else.

How secure is that gas cap?  I've been thinking of getting one (but in black) however I didn't know how easy it would be to open the cap since it doesn't seem to have a lock.

Mhanis

The cap has a fob that you use to open it. If you look cklosely in the very center of the cap there is a small bar (for lack of a better term) that runs North and South. The fob snaps over that then you puch the fob and center of the cap down and turn it counterclockwise and the cap is released.

You can do it without the fob, it is not a key, but it would be very tough with your fingers. With pliers it would be easy to get in to. So while it is not locked, it is secure.

Jeff is the man. I've ordered several parts from him in the past and he was awesome. Would not hesitate to buy more when I get the funds!
