My lovely wife says to wear a shirt that says Ducati while riding on a Ducati is like wearing a shirt of the band youre seeing at the concert as is deemed "uncool". So I can wear my Norton shirt but not my Ducati shirt while on my Monster. Thoughts?

I would hope your shirt is covered with good gear ( leathers or riding jacket ) so who would even see it?

My two cents

I would agree with your wife, it's bad mojo.

I wear my red ducati monster t-shirt while riding my red monster 696, but that is only when Im riding around my neighborhood and is extremely hot.

I think it looks cool  [Dolph]

I don't pay that much attention to what I'm wearing/riding/driving. Coordinating shirts to vehicles seems like a lot of headache.

If this is your big problem in life, life is really really good.  Cool is wearing what you want, not what others tell you to.

This was a topic that was brought up at DIMBY a few weeks ago. I have several Duc shirts, bags and jackets but also  100,000 miles between two Monsters.

Neither she or I wrote the book - we're just quoting what it says.

I'm not sure about a Norton shirt though. Best to ask her again.

Do what she says and it will be less headaches.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

I'm not married so take my advice with a grain of salt here.  Who the hell cares!  Most people are to dumb to read the tank and see what you're riding.  Rock the shirt!

I never really think about matching clothes to bike - I ride every day and wear whatever I feel like/must wear that day. I don't have a ducati shirt, but if I did I wouldn't go out of the way to wear it while on a ducati nor would I actively avoid it.  I've never been very good on style or what's cool though, I just ride around a lot.   [Dolph]

What about Ducati gear? I have a Dainese jacket that has some Ducati patches on it.
