As a few of us know DucmonRob's little boy has been unwell since late last year, he has been suffering from Leukaemia and the family have been going through hell not knowing what lay ahead for them and more importantly their young son Kyle.

This is the reason that we have not seen or heard much of Rob as he has been busy juggling his job his family and visits to hospital.

The good news is that Kyle is getting better and I believe is now home and is actually looking forward to going back to school in six weeks or so.

Lisa, Rob's wife (Kyle's mum) has decided to go one better and is now in the process of  preparing to do the Relay for Life down in Wollongong and raise some money for the Cancer Foundation.

We have an opportunity to help Rob's family here, Rob spoke to me a couple of days ago and sent me the link where we can make a donation, think its a terrific idea so here's the link     http://relay.cancercouncil.com.au/2011/illawarra_2011/Kyle-McKellars-Fan-Club                  They have set some simple goals, lets help them smash 'em .

'when in doubt apply throttle' - it may not save you, but it will end the suspense

I've updated the coming ride thread to include a Carbon Tax that we can pass onto Rob.

Hi all firstly a very very big thank you to all who have contributed to the Relay for Life. [thumbsup] [thumbsup] Also a big thanks to Mmick for posting up the link. To my surprise we have raised almost 10000 dollars which has far exceeded my wildest dreams!

My boy Kyle is now approaching the end of the his agressive treatment but he still has a while to go before he will be allowed home.

The past 6 months have been pretty damn rough for my entire family. It is something that you can not really descibe unless you have been in the same situation yourself.

The Doctors and Staff at the Randwick Childrens Hospital are absolutely amazing. The support you recieve is something that was not expected but was very helpful in times of need.

I must also praise Ronald McDonnald House for their accomodation where my family has stayed at on numerous occasions due to the low blood counts from the Chemo therapy.

Also I must also thank you all for all of the kind words of support too.

Things are slowly getting back to normal so I will ensure I will check in to Ozmonster more frequently.
