Hey Everyone,

Realized I haven't introduced myself yet, though I have created and replied to several posts (sorry about the poor etiquette). I'm 22, and as of two months ago am an officer in the US Air Force. I'm still living in Oregon until I leave for pilot training at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, TX sometime this winter. I bought my 2000 Monster 750 from its second owner in Portland, OR in May with 16k miles. It was used as a commuter by both previous owners and always stored outside, uncovered in either SF, CA or Portland, so she's got some cosmetic blemishes (don't we all).

All I can say is the more I ride it, the more I love it! I appreciate the little things more and more as I ride with friends on other bikes like CBRs, R6s, and 'cruisers'  [roll]. I clearly got lucky when this bike went up for sale in my limited price range, and I got to it before anyone else.

I'm also super excited about the DMF! I had previously spent a lot of time looking at pnwriders.com, which is a great resource for riders in my area, but there aren't a lot of Monster drivers there. Everyone here seems to have a genuine interest in the furthering of a worldwide community of Monster (and other Duc) Fans, and have been extremely helpful.
- Shout out to Duc750 for his help pointing me in the right direction with starting mods and compatibility!  [thumbsup] -
But honestly, the value of the DMF to an inexperienced guy like myself is priceless. I can't wait to get greasy and be able to offer a little advice of my own later on down the road!

Seeya around,
David
