New 620 Rider in NYC

Hello all,

I just bought myself my first bike, a 2005 Monster 620 Dark. I've always wanted a Monster and now I have one :-) I've read a lot of the threads here and finally decided to join. I'm located in Queens, NYC, and plan on using the motorcycle for rides and commuting. I took the MSF Basic RiderCourse, learned a lot from it, and got my license a few weeks ago.

Welcome!  The M620 is a fantastic machine.  Go ahead and take the advanced course and maybe a track school or something like Lee Park's total control.  Best to do the major learning somewhere without cages to squash you -- that and its by far the best performance "mod" you can do.
