Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

The lesson is that black fabric dye works well on belt covers, sprocket cover, and indicators.  On beer trays and side panels, not so much.

NNNOOOOOOOOOO!
The bike was looking so nice the other week.

Spray them or something!
You can use my stock bear tray and side panels if you want. (beer tray is already off and the side panels are a quick unbolt.. one of them is already stickerless!)

You're not allowed to pull out now, not after all the 2V rivalry we've seen going on.

p.s. - might be worth a post in the mods forum if you haven't already. (disregard - of course you have)
p.p.s - the gold lettering on the black box in the back of your photo looks like the same bloody font that gollum used for his precious.

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”
NYTimes: "...highlights of his global tour include encounters with Nelson Mandela, an 800-year-old demigod and a dildo collector."

Different plastic think it is abs on the tray and side covers you better race down to autobahn and grab a rattle can of vht paint and plastic primer  [thumbsup]

Got a spare one in the garage if that will help Suzy

Awww, you guys are too sweet.  Thanks for the offer, but so far (I've done one of the side covers, and am part way through doing the beer tray) they come up nicely when I remove the blooming (and the textured surface) with 240 grit emery, then work my way through 400, 600, and 1200 grit.  They look different to the factory finish, but not as different as they would if I painted them.

Actually I quite like the result.  And they're just right for making molds from...

I think Mick was asking why would Suzy want to make molds ... not who tastes the tangiest.
