Seen alot of that setup here in oz. Especially on choppers and even more frequent on the rice racers. I really wonder how many coppers out there would actually know to defect you for it. As long as you dont let your bike go to blue slips and the RTA have to ridicule it for rego I recon it be a pretty safe bet. But a gamble none the less.

i for one have considered it many many times.

That last black bike sorta makes me want to buy a new 1100S, then part with,....I'd say,......close to another ten grand to bring it up to scratch...dam nice machine that one........ ..........  that would definately rain on Captain Barge Ars's parade come next September....

Yep his treatment of the M1100s is amazing.
the parts list is longer than all of our bikes put together I'd think. I followed the thread on Acc & Mods board.
It's truly an amazing bike, it might well win in Sept if we could entice him to fly it down.
