Hello all -

I'm shopping for parts and I'm starting to go a bit crazy with trying to figure out whether parts will fit my motor.

I have a 2002 M750 Dark.

If I see an object that fits a "748" with no other description, does that apply to my bike?
What about an object that fits a "749" with no other description?
Did any other Ducati motorcycles use the same engine that my monster has?

Thanks

748 and 749 are SuperBikes, little brothers of 996 and 999.

Any specific parts you're looking for?

a 748 is a ducati model.  Not just engine size.

So is a 749

Both of which happen to be small displacement 4-valve engines.  Which were never in a monster.

EDIT: Beat me to it.

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.  - HST

Ok - it sounds like I need to look for Monster 750 parts.

I'm trying to track down a tool for holding the cam still while I pull off the nut.  Doesnt look like motomfg makes one.
