I had to ride through puddle of concrete washoff....which i didnt realize was concrete until it was too late (not like i had much of a choice in the matter).

anyway, theres chunks of concrete stuck to my engine. any tips on washing it off? I dont own a power washer, but i think that might be the only way. its stuck on my head and headers and i cant get my brass bristle brush into some spots....

non-chlorinated break cleaner might work.  let it soak.

I would thinks that it would likely chip off after it dries up... depending on the finish (smoothness) of the parts that got hit. Concrete and concrete slurry like porous materials and bare metals.

Hope it comes off easy.

I'm in the concrete business. So if all the above fails there is an option.  Do a search for places around you that sell Materials testing equipment or Drilling supply company like the the link below.  Its a concrete remover and works like a charm.

P.S. don't wait to long, the longer you wait the harder it gets to remove.

tahts kind of the problem, the paint job on my engine like every other paint job out there is cracked so its kinda stuck on the paint cracks. i tried using a brass brush and i got a good bit of it off, the issue is i cant reach places like the starter motor and the cooling fins.
