Looking at the Talkswitch 488vs

Is there a better deal going? It seems pretty decent -- up to 24 extensions, vxm, transfers, etc just...

I am planning to use analog extensions -- what's teh downside?

I am personally a huge fan of Avaya's Office IP solutions but unless you have a great dealer locally, most won't fight to get you all of their incentives/rebates/discounts like our local guy did...granted, it helped that he has been a long time friend but still.

I take it that you are looking to use existing analog desktop phones with this?
One of the things I liked about the Avaya desk sets was the single wire solution. Cat 5E to the phone and then on to the pc. No need for a phone jack and an ethernet jack...

zltful - we could do a lot if the ofc was wired but no go.  everyone has the solution you described but it doesn't work for us.  plus no interest in buying new handsets.

we are full wireless.   precious 10b2 is still in the walls.
