My '00 M750 won't start after I install the rizoma grips.  I saw one of the instructions in "Tutorials" but mine is slightly different.  I have two throttle cables so I use the 4 strokes plastic piece that came with the grips.

Anyone know what's the problem is? I think i might have flooded the engine cuz I twisted the throttle many times during the installation, I don't know.  How do it fix this?  Thanks in advance.

if it's just flooded - the easy fix is just to let it sit for a little while and the flooding will resolve itself.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Yeah, I left it over night but still no luck.

I turn the key and the switch, then try to start the bike...I don't hear anything.   :-\

The started doesn't spin?

Did you disconnect the switches? Are they properly reconnected? Do you have it in run? You'd not be the first person to have the kill switch in off after a mod and jump to the worst conclusion

I don't think I hear the starter spin.  The battery is fine since the lights and brakes are working.
I didn't touch the switches assembly at all, just the throttle assembly.  I have it in run and tried to start the bike as I would any day.

The throttle cables don't really go anywhere near it... but, you may have bumped one of the delicate connectors going into the solenoid.  Make sure those are connected securely and try again.

Hey Thank you very much....I traced the wire from the bar switch back to the solenoid (under the gas tank, next to the carburetors).  Reconnected it and it fire back up.  [thumbsup]

Thanks everyone for commenting.  Now I need to  [Dolph]
