Its going to need a skid plate to protect that pipe. Otherwise looks great. Wonder if there will be luggage for it.

We don't need no stinkin' luggage.   [roll]  ;D
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

I envision that being an adventure bike.

I dont really care for these big 1200cc Adventure Bikes they sell. Im more like less is best. Something like that, I might want to hit the road from time to time and put bags on it. I would definitively ride that to Boise or down to Monterey for instance.

That 790 is a concept bike. It's also a Motard not an Enduro. Two completely different animals.

A motard is the sort of thing I want, with removable luggage and ADV style tires. It's a nice looking concept.

Ducati has the hypers, and BMW has the F series bikes. There just aren't that many twins in that size range that can go for a couple of hours at 80mph nice and smooth like, and then turn off on to a BLM road and go up into the mountains for 20 miles on progressively narrow, seldom used, 4WD paths and still be relatively nimble. Because of the suspension it can easily handle chopped up crappy pavement and potholes, and will let you get a little bit of air here and there.

But I dont want another Motocross bike to ride in the woods.

It will probably either be the Hypermotard or Hyperstrada.

All the current twins are ginormous rock crushers.

Any ADV twins under 500 lbs?
Even that's silly for off-road.
