Attempt No. 1:
Was lightly inspired by the ducati "mechanicca" wings, while also incorporating the latest "dynamic D" logo.
Also included the loveable clutch plate as a subtle note, per the current feedback in the thread.
Included is a version for light background, and a version for dark backgrounds. Colors are up for changing of course.

This is a scalable vector graphic, so it's compatible with laser cutting, etching (plate brackets? clutch covers?), screen printing (t-shirts?), and computerized embroidering (patches! hats?), as well as most other forms of visual communication.

I even included a small tagline / slogan.

I had considered giving it a little "hooligan" personality by adding a small horns and a devil tail, but thought i'd leave that out for now.

What do you guys think??

what would it look like if the trellis frame was true to the shape/design of the monster?

wonder also if it is possible to "ducati monster worldwide" or should it be "Ducati Monster Forum"....?) in a rough shape of the monster tank

Well, i pretty much exactly traced the front half of the frame, with only some really slight tweaks. I'm having a bit of trouble picturing your "tank" idea, do you think you could maybe sketch it on paper and show me? I'd be more than willing to execute it... Maybe describe it a little bit differently for me?

Are you wanting the "wings" to not be wings, but rather a full frame, with one short half and one long half? With the type conforming to the rough shape of the monster tank?

Anywho, i did another slightly tweaked version.
Beefed up the frame a little. Changed it from "worldwide" to "forum." Made it a little "racier" and a little more "international."

Looks better w/out the tagline too.

Hah. No sweat herm. It's not as easy as a lot of people think!
Unfortunately for your idea, i'm done designing for the night, feeling pretty tired...

But just to be difficult I gotta say I like your first designs better.  I like the thinner trellis.  Looks more real.  Also like the clutch graphic in one solid color....and I do kinda like the "Worldwide" thing.   I suppose thats up to our "Group of 8" to figure out though.
