Has anyone installed a belly pan for a 2007 S4RS? if so, was there any modification to the pan itself prior to installation?

I'm pretty sure it's straight forward, if you're thinking about the Monza from MonsterParts   http://www.monsterparts.com/c/Bodywork-Carbon/Bodywork-Carbon.html  Jeff will send you a picture of it - on a S4RS.

Also do a search on Belly, Pan, Monza here like this   http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?action=search2    Ask anything you like in the topics or send an Personal Message (PM) to the member you have specific question for.

And of course: welcome to the DMF  [thumbsup]

[Yeah thanks, i have emailed monster parts but yet to receive a reply. It does mention that mods are required to fit the belly pan. Wanted to know exactly what was invloved.]

I have tried monster parts. But all their belly pans "monza" are out of stock. I have sent Jeff several emails over the past weeks with no reply. Does anyone knows who else stocks them??

Try calling him, they're in the midst of moving into a new building.

I'd sent him an email Sunday and decided to call yesterday. He went over the email with me. He's the nicest guy. Spoke to me in no hurry while his emails piled up!
2005 S4R, Rizoma Lux Grips/Bar Caps, ASV Shorty Levers, DP LED Mirrors, CF Headlight Brackets, Rizoma Clutch Cover/Pressure Plate, Stebel Nautilus horn (139db!), Rizoma Sprocket Cover, EK Chain (Red), Shift-Tech CF Chain Guards/Rear hugger, CW Tail Chop, LED Brake Light, Watsen Design tail signals, Zard Full Exhaust. My wife was OK with the bike until I started spending money on Her, not her... Now I just call her Francesca and say she's my Italian mistress.

Jeff doesn't always keep his online shop updated. He might have it even if his website says out of stock. +1 on calling him.

I fitted mine today (S2R 800). There are nuts fastened to the brackets - one fell of when we tried to tighten it, so it had to be replaced with a conventional nylon secured nut. You might do yourself a favour to have one ready or get more than the normal four brackets with your order. The second issue was that we had to add a 3-4 mm spacer for the rear right mounting point - otherwise the bracket would point the wrong way. Otherwise very easy and it looks much better than I expected. On your bike I'm suspecting the need-to-mod/install to be more complicated, but people have done it so it must be within reason. Probably a good idea to ask Jeff and people here first though? Check the bikes of the DMF, find a member who has done it and ask how.

Good luck!

Any luck on this? Maybe some pics? I picked up a DP belly pan for my 2005 S4R. It appears that this thing needs to be mounted using the bolts that hold on the side of the engine case  ???

That's the way I've seen 'em mounted.

Scroll down to Robs4rs (on page one) A pretty good picture to show how it's mounted. I think it's a good idea to take your time to measure and figure everything out before you start. Good luck!
