Didn't that bike have a Sargent on it when you bought it?

No, stock seat.
I finally found a donor seat which I shaved down... very similar to a "Corbin or Sargent" flatter at the back before the cowl.
It actually came out very well [beer]
I am actually thinking about going to Golden's Upholstery shop later.
My people skills are just fine.
It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work.

Strange.  I could have sworn Rick had a Sargent seat on that thing...

How does the DP touring seat rank for pillion comfort compared to the sarg and corbin? I just want another seat for longer trips with my wife.

The best thing about the DP Touring seat is the red stitching. Don't get it if you are looking for major comfort upgrades.

I hate my corbin.

I've put thousands of miles on it and lots of 12 hours days and it's still a heavy brick and  hell on my knees as it sits me lower, and I only have a 29" inseem.

It is better than stock for a pillion however.



I love my sargent.

I've put thousands of miles on it and lots of 12 hour days and it's comfy, sits me higher and lighter than the corbin.

However, it sucks for two-up riding as there isn't much of a pillion perch and it slopes back.
