Sorry to hear about the crash guys.

I totally get your comments about being concerned about the bike. It doesn't make any sense at the head level, but at the heart level I totally get it.

I'll heal up eventually, but noooooo my bike.

Hope you heal quick and well, and that the bike isn't written off and they repair it well.

Yes crap is the word. I'm  just worry about what going to happen to the bike whether it will be a ride off or not. It doesn't take much for the insurance to wanna ride it off so have to wait and see.

see how you go, you may be able to negotiate a payout for damages and keep the bike and repair yourself rather than having it 'written off'
i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

My brakes worked too good and high sided it and then slid on my right side,so some how the only damage to me is my knees. So lucky I was wearing all my safety gear even though it was ripped and cut open at the emergency ward. I'm quiet happy with my injuries, but not the bikes so have to make a few call tomorrow. Now I just walk a old granny ATM minus a walking stick.  [roll]

Jeeez Jukie, glad to hear your relatively unscathed, hope your not walking like a grandma for to long, pity to hear the bike didn't fair to well  :( ,hope things work out and that your back on the road before to long

... so that explains it... How're ya feeling?
Hope you're not hobbling around too much anymore.

Bloody dangerous stuff that "REGO" thing.

Maybe one day we'll be able to talk about what really happened.

She is almost walking properly now but the knees are still a bit dodgy. Someone said the other day 'no more doggie style for you' ... which only confused me - she was riding a bike not driving in the car with her head out the window.
