That bracket looks sweet Kyle  [thumbsup]. I was gonna get one after your suggestion, but I ended up getting a stock Termi/Remus bracket that a member had spare. Swapped it for some low mount brackets I had.... But now I'm tempted  ;D

Yeap! Quite nicely built too! Pretty damn impressed  [thumbsup]

Seemed the obvious solution to my problem, which was the cans didn't come with brackets, LV wanted ~$100p.p. from the US for the stock brackets which hung off the footpegs.. This is far better/cleaner/etc  ;D

If you don't mind me asking, how much was all that to be coated? Where from?

duke8

Cost me $100 all up, which included the blasting... I had 10 pieces so it cost me $10 a piece (also got the passenger pegs done)

Wasn't sure if that was expensive or not, but the convenience of the place and my schedule suited me well. It was done by precision coating in seven hills... They did an excellent job [thumbsup] and only had the parts overnight.

I used to work at a powdercoater and I'd say $100 seems very reasonable, especially for that turnaround time.

Thanks hobbsy that's good to know  [thumbsup]. I'll definitely use them again if I have to....

i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

Don't be afraid of oil changes! They're piss-easy  [thumbsup]

Yesterday/today I did a quickfire trip to penrith and back via the putty....
While riding spritely through the 12 mile home I felt an abnormal vibration through my butt, Thought nothing of it and continued on my way.. But could feel it consistently above 80kmh..

Just got home and put the tail up on the stand and found that one of my rear axle bearing dust covers is missing and a couple of balls outta the race missing... FARK  [thumbsdown]
