Well I do have a pretty cool pressure plate - just being slack putting it on.  To busy riding the bike oddly enough.  I used to have a TPO spacer kit which would leave an "air gap" between the clutch cover and the engine.  Still got that dry clutch sound, but looked stock.  Had people guessing!

not quite today - last week actually.  Put my first ever bit of bling on my S2R1000

Yes, it does need some "under bling" to match. I have a similar cover but took it off after every  [leo] that I ever talked too went straight for it as being "a bad thing mmkay". Something about a kiddie possibly sticking a finger in there or some shite. I gave up in the end in case they started looking at the bike a little more closely  :-\

                                          The humble sparkplug

For the duration of my Phillip Island ride and on the return the old girl was running really weird.
It was really cranky at idle down on power and felt like it needed a tune.
It would have this strange feeling like the throttle bodies were not in sync and kind of a spluttery sound
and really hard to start and ride cold and slow through traffic.
I checked my records thinking it may be the fuel filter but I changed that only last year.
The records showed that the same plugs had been in for two years.
They looked like it was running rich and the gap on one seemed too wide.

I put some fresh NGK's in it sounded better straight up , went for a ride last night OMG the front wheel went north and
now feels like 25% more power and running super crisp. [thumbsup]

Simple  [clap]
How long have your plugs been in  [coffee]

PAUL M

Only a suggestion, maybe rev-it harder I heard that keeps the plugs clean  ;D

I have my M1100 booked in for an Ohlins upgrade as well, the S46DR1. The stock rear suspension is supposedly good for =>80kg riders and at 6'3" I ain't been >80kg since my prime skirt-chasing days in my 20's. I've put up with it for far too long and am looking forward to the change in time for the next DOCV run.

You wont regret it 'cept maybe the "GOOD" rear might show up the "Not quite up to scratch" front end!?  [roll]

Mine has made my stock Marzocchi single disc front end feel like shite!!  ;)

Hand returns to the pocket!!  [thumbsup] [Dolph]

You hit it right on the button DW, the front end is now feeling sloppy and my mechanic advised a spring upgrade asap. With the new rear shock set up properly for my weight I am actually riding higher and under heavy braking it feels a little more "nose down" than it used to. I'm skint right now so it will have to do until mid next year.

Good news, it was only the battery... Put the DB killers in and the clear visor on & took her for a spin. Got home, took the DB killers out and put the tinted visor back on - it just didn't feel right😎

New front discs along with steering head bearing......ducabike clear clutch cover.......my mechanic (who is also the ducabike rep here) wasn't happy that I couldn't get a pressure plate from ducabike so he got mine powder coated and engraved....certainly one of a kind now! photos to follow
