Well I ended up getting the tank fixed and painted at a cost of $1200 but that also includes painting the rear cowl too,

all I need to do now is pick my colour??  stay red or go black??  hard one, but I think I will end up just sticking with the red?

Thanks for everyones help but really apprciate it!

Guys  im trying to rebiuld my monstr in time for the tank and have come accross a problem with the rear wheel, for the life of me I dont remeber how it goes??

I have two conical spacers one longer than the other, what side do they go on?

I have read the bigside needs to be on the frame, but the longer of the two spacers will only fit on the left side wheel, here is pic:

any help would be apprecitate :)

I just emailed you the parts catalogue you should be able to work it out from that.

longer one goes in the sprocket carrier, with the flange to the wheel side (slides in from wheel side).  it should fit inside the large thin spacer.

Thanks Robs

but I alreadyhave that one and it dosnt show it at all  [bang]

I can see the long one fitting in the hub carrier but the other smaller one?

does it go the same way as I have taken the pic??

thansk for everyones help so far!

really appreciate it

well I ended up sorting out the rear wheel, it turns out the larger flange had to go inside the hub carrier, so all good, the wheel is cleaned and polished and sitting nice and snug inside the rear trailing arms,

so today I polished up a few things and starting putting things back on, it ws fairly straight forward however I have damged a switch as I didint celan/cut the threads on the rear sets that have been powder coated...dumb ass, so that now is going to hold me back,

if anyone has a spare switch of know were I can get one asap please let me know the part number is : 539.4.003.1B

anyway enough talking here are a few pics, finally after 1 month its back on the ground again!! lol

mmm cleanish....

and here a close up of the lhs muffler all bolted up with the polished pipe:

So basicaly I have to wait for this switch and then I can get started again.

Please also if anyone knows of anything else I have missed or can do to my beast while its off the road please let me know :)

Hope you enjoy the pics

Is that the stock header?  It looks gorgeous.

It's a good thing you're not in Sydney, otherwise I might have to do something awful to your bike just before concourse.
