I test rode a Scramble today at MotoCorsa. [Dolph]

Nice bike, it fit me well, although the version I rode had high bars, I'm much more used to the clip-ons on my Monster & the Smeshnoy Krolik. The gearing was a bit tall, at city traffic speeds it was very sensitive to throttle inputs in 1st and lugged in 2nd if you got below 25. Alot like my Monster until I regeared it. Past 35 it was very pleasant to ride, with the wide bars it was easy to ride in the corners, very responsive and easy to turn in. With the high bar set up, anything above 65 to 70 mph you had alot of wind blast and with the upright riding position would be a problem after a while at freeway speeds.

The seat was comfy, although I only rode for about 30 minutes. Power & torque were good, it had a good amount of pickup when you got on the gas, fueling seemed to be good. Cable clutch was smooth and the bike shifted easily through the gears, neutral was easy to find.

Given the amount of customization available for the Scrambler, it would be easy to get a set up that would fit your particular riding style. I liked the look of the bike, and it felt good to ride within certain parameters: twisties and below 65 on the open road.
