I think there's a silver Fuglystrada on Craigslist for something like $7k over here in Milwaukie.  Much more legroom than Il Mostro.  Ya gotta have some serious inseam to straddle that wanker, though.    Erica up at MotoCorsa was lookin' at my enviously when I was sitting on one of theirs and flat-footing it, knees bent.

Hit and run in Estacada this morning... Motorcyclist ran out of gas and was walking into town... and was hit and killed by some d-bag who just kept driving. 


Keep is safe guys... on or off the bike.

In other news...

Got 90% of my crap moved to a functional apartment in White Salmon, WA today.  Need to haul my PC and a few odds and ends out there in the car tomorrow.  Starting work on Monday!  Then over the next month or so I'll start trying to find a house to buy.  I'd really like to take advantage of that $8000 first-time buyer credit!  They've got it set up where you can use it for the down payment and/or closing costs.  That means... I wouldn't have to sell any toys! 

It's so stunningly beautiful out there... the house my apartment is in has a great view looking west into the Gorge, and where the winds down to the main road, there's this postcard view of Mt. Hood.  I'll have to post up some pics soon.  Un-bloody-believable!
