Spot 2 gps - on super sale, $50 Best buy currently

Another rider and occasional DMF'er passed me the info that best buy is selling the Spot 2 for $50 right now. No idea how long that will last. It's at least $125 any place else currently, so this is a hell of a deal.

if you're like me and have been pondering one of these - this should lower the barrier a lot.

i have one.  used one last year on the cross country trip (NY to CA back to NY) i took.  when i got back, all the records were lost online.  i was not happy. but then again, it was a long trip...

however, friends and family were able to see our progress (me and wife riding pillion) throughout our trip and they enjoyed the trip vicariously

overall, it worked well and the battery life was fantastic.  i would pick it up for $50, especially if anyone is planning a long distance trip.
