We ran into some small hail on the Lake City loop last year. Stung through my leather...otherwise, riding in the rain doesn't bother me...the road into Ouray from the north though gets slick with the silt that collects on the road and then turns into a slippery mess.

Just got out first substantial rain in like 2.5 months today here. And it has made the temps cool enough that I want to actually ride for leisure and not just simply for transportation hehe.

trailer has been picked up and the airport police even questioned me for being suspicious (no shit). I grabbed my keys to open the hangar and they took off....tragedy averted.
