I notice today that Google celebrates the inventor of the zipper

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gideon_Sundback

which leads to the Talon Co in my hometown - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talon_Zipper

which caused tons of tool and die shops to spring up here in Meadville and a training center to open (just the one back in the day, more now) which I found my way into after being fired from my line cook job at Applebee's

[laugh]

So I guess I owe it all to the zipper.

Funny how things go.

The GM wasn't quite right in the head.  I never did find out the reason.  I was out back with the smokers.  I suspect it was because i wasn't actually smoking but I was there.

Who knows.

I later became friends with a guy who turned out to be related to Mr Nutty and he confirmed the nutty-ness.

I'm cooler than him anyhow

For some reason, I picture ML as the Dane Cook character in "Waiting..."

I wonder why that is... ???

Don't mess with people who handle your food.

That is all.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Yes. Don't EVER mess with people who handle your food! One of the top 5 rules of life! [thumbsup] ;)
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.
