New (to Me) Monster!

Hello all.
I'm new on the forum.
My name is Jim and I live in Fairfax, California, USA.
I just picked up a 2007 Monster S2r 1000. 
It's got the silver and black paint and is all stock with 16k miles.
It's pretty sweet.  (now if I can just stop my gas tank from expanding...)
I've been riding since 1992, but have been off the bike for about 5 years, when I sold my 750SS. 
It's good to be back.

Welcome to the boards, if you have not heard about the Caswell stuff it works for the tanks application is easy to do. I never get tired of my S2R1k love it I'm going to die with this machine.

Totally agree.  I just can't get over how good the s2r is. 
The suspension is the best I have ever tried.  The forks are like tree trunks.
So fast and still has that 2 valve character.  Love it.
