thoughts on which way...

so the story goes like this...I have a 98 900 track bike which isn't being ridden...it needs some lovin just due to sitting...it also doesn't have any streetable anything on it, though the wiring is all there and just taped back and tucked...

my GF has her 05 620 which has a Ventura rack set-up on it, high mount Remus Carbon exhaust, AxlJak frame sliders, Givi A755 windscreen, and is just plain comfy for her ( I also have sitting to the side, an ST rear shock with remote adjustable resovoir for it, but haven't put it on).....but she wants to upgrade in power and likes the raw flatblack scheme that the trackbike is instead of the red frame/red tank setup she currently has....

the trackbike has Ohlins adjustable rear shock and adjustable forks, Cycle Cat rearseats, D&D high mount exhaust, Red 5 Spoke Marchesini rear wheel ( have the front, but need to get the proper bearings for to use them or modify the speedo drive)...

so, as the questions ask...should I/we sell the 620 to pay for rehabbing the 900 back to street trim, or should be poach as much as we can/need off the 620 for to use on the 900 and then part out or sell off as a whole the rest of the bike...

I put boobies in there because we all know it has to be a choice in a DMF poll, but votes for that don't really help...just sayin is all...

Personally, I say sell both & get a blacked out newer bike, like a 795 or 796.

My vote:
1. Cannibalize the 620 for the 900.

2. Sell the remaining 620 carcass.

I'd put the 900 motor and good 900 bits that'll fit onto the 620...get the 620 frame and tank powercoated/painted to fit her liking while you're at it and it's all apart. Then sell the 620 motor and whatever you have left over.
