The ones pictured on the stock Hyper were made in just a few limited sets by D.I.D. and never put into production even though that picture was used in the Ducati handouts. Not available from D.I.D. nor Ducati.

that's why I was confused by raux's post... I had seen that bike in an article, and remembered them saying it was a custom wheel.

I was also not a fan of the hub... thingy... on that one.

We're not a sponsor, but I will tell you if you are down under, you need to convince someone there to get them. It was mentioned before, but freight from the States to OZ is CRAZY! I looked into shipping a set of wheels...boxed individually so as not to get hit with too much tax for my buddy and USPS was almost $500.00 EACH and UPS was pushing $800.00!!!!

You realize the coolness penalty will be ~3 lb per wheel?

I don't have actual numbers, as I've not had my hands on a spoked SSS wheel.
And not had M1100 wheels in my hands either.

But, Sport Classic wheels, 5-Y SBK and Hyper wheels, etc.

I've said it TIME and TIME AGAIN....IF its speed we want...we should maybe look for a different bike...Maybe something with a radiator...The Monster is an amazing machine...but it is what it is! Its relative... Don't get me wrong...Unsprung weight..Big bores..cams.. Light weight titanium and carbon "flux capacitors" are things I worry about too, but spoke wheels are just effin cool! If I had the coin left over after this build, the KINEOs would be in the build list!

BTW-I spent 75 miles on an 848 Streetfighter yesterday.... Not so uncomfortable actually!
