new 796 owner

just got my first monster - used 796 ABS and i live in LA.  i have owned several bikes before this one and just got tired of the jap bikes - nothing wrong with them, they are excellent mass produced bikes.  just wanted something different and i love twins/triples.  this fit the bill.  now if i could just afford all that carbon...rizoma bling...
i have plans for my first track day next month...hope i don't drop her!

Welcome!  I just moved to CA (I work in LA, live in Irvine) and bought a Monster 796.  100 mile daily commute. 

Where are you doing your track day?  I don't know much about what's over here on the west coast yet.  I've done numerous car track days, but never on a bike.
