Can the plastic tanks be worked on?

Is the material suitable for repair or in this case modification?

I ask because I can't get the RoadRacing tank shape out of my head 8)

I thought Ducatiz is making a RR style AL for the S*R

Will they be RR shape? I don't know yet.

As long as the plastic doesn't expand with the still available non-ethanol gas - I have both options.

I'd mod a plastic tank with epoxy materials and coat it with an epoxy coating.

Can't be any worse than a stock tank. ;)
