frame geometry probably is not conducive to a good fit without massive modification/adaptation...

Just wait for the CA-Cycleworks Monster Racing Tank...they're in the second stage of refinement.

I think it's neat and no mod required...about the same price you would spend for a use DS tank

Personally I don't think the Track tank looks as good as the SC model tanks. But that's just me.

Won't fit due to the monster's frame width being wider than the channel in the tank for it to sit down properly, as well as the rear sump setup that hangs down where the shock mounts.  Unfortunately it is difficult to modify the sport classic tanks because they are poly.  Best bet would be to take it to a decent hot rod shop and have them make you a custom tank.

Have taken a cursory look before, the tank and the seat are not bolt-ons.

For the seat, it will involve frame modifications, pretty massive ones at that.

The Sport classic tanks look way too large.  They don't look too bloated from the side view, but when you compare a Monster to a Sport 1000 from the rear three quarters view you can really see the difference.  They are so big due to the large area under the tank for the airbox.   Even if you could transfer the tank to the Monster frame, it wouldn't look good.

Well, from the pic you posted it appears to fit and No, it doesn't look good at all.
